My name is Laura Benko, and welcome to the Loveknot Cattery website.

My journey with pedigreed cats began in the mid-1980s, when I started showing Himalayans and Persians. After marrying, I made the difficult decision to step away from my beloved cats. However, my passion for them—and my dream of continuing to show and responsibly breed pedigreed cats—never faded.

When my youngest child entered their senior year of high school, I returned to the world of cat breeding and showing, founding Loveknot once again—this time focusing on colorpoint and solid Exotic Shorthair and Persian cats.
